The Illusion

I slowly open my eyes
and touch into the invisible warmth,
lying peacefully next to me
and is never dying.

I start the trip of searching:
the real person, once lying there.
But after every movement, it becomes clearer:
IT'S ALL AN ILLUSION!

At the edge of my perception
I found hurt and lonely people like me,
but they all where silent actors
in an observation.

I've tried to break my natural cycles,
to calm down my twin-like soul,
but all I've found
WAS AN ILLUSION!

On this trip the only thing you could find
was an exhausted gloomy mirror.
He cannot speak,
but he can hear you scream.

After the walk into the gloomy mirror,
the reflecting end of my trip,
I cut my arm and shade my eyes
in expectation of a new morning.
